  • zPCR is a productivity tool designed to provide capacity sizing insights for IBM z Systems processors. It can help accurately estimate the capacity sizing impact from configuring z Systems  processors. Capacity results are based on IBM’s LSPR data. zPCR is available as a free download available from IBM.  This session has been updated in 2015 to cover the z Systems processor z13 and SMT. It will also cover the latest features and the Enterprise Data Files (EDF) option to utilize the recently recommended CPU MF Counters for workload selection.

     

    This presentation provides an introduction to the zPCR capabilities to help estimate the impact of capacity sizing challenges, utilizing the latest version and Advanced Functions.
