The "Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server" has been available for several releases as a z/OSMF-based tool for configuring policy-based networking functions. In z/OS V2R2, the Configuration Assistant was rewritten to use Liberty WebSphere. As a result of this rewrite the configuration panels have changed, providing the capability for configuring the TCP/IP stack itself.
