Biographical Sketch: Responsible for product lifecycle of: Enterprise and Midrange SAN storage product lines Rack Mounted and Compute Blade servers systems NAS Unified Storage Systems Data Networks portfolio management Storage Management software He joined HDS in early 2000 and he has been involved in a leadership role in all the Enterprise Storage and IT Infrastructure projects since their inception. Prior to that, he held various Product Management and Product Marketing roles at Memorex-Telex and at Sutmyn Storage, a start-up company in Santa Clara CA, on an innovative Virtual Tape Storage product for mainframe users. Mr. Basilio earned a diploma in "Electrical Engineering" from the IX Istituto Tecnico in Milan (Italy) and a diploma in "Industrial Products Marketing" from the Bocconi University in Milan (Italy) in addition to vast technical, business and leadership education throughout the entire working career.
