Biographical Sketch: Hal Steiner is a senior DB2 professional with 30 years experience, beginning with DB2 V1.1 Hal owned and operated a national IT Training company for over three decades, which specialized in Database abd DB2 Training for Fotune 1000 corporations. Hal has taught literally thousands of people DB2 over his career. He has spoken at several national and regional conferences such as IOD in 2006 and 2007. He uses humor and anecdotes to bring home the highly technical content of his subject matter. Hal is currently part of the DB2 DBA team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he can practice what he preaches. He lives in Florida with his wife Sera, and his new puppy, Cody.
