Biographical Sketch: Harry MacCord is the director of application management for all of Educational Testing Services’ brands. Educational Testing Service (ETS) develops, administers and scores more than 50 million tests each year, including the TOEFL®, TOEIC®, GRE®, and The Praxis Series® assessments. At ETS, MacCord directs the legacy mainframe development teams responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting key applications for ETS, including teacher licensure, GRE, and TOEFL/TOEIC systems. Recently, MacCord coordinated the implementation of Web services technologies on the CICS and IDMS mainframe applications to provide real time, cross platform application interoperability. Previously, MacCord served as the Vice President of ASAP Systems of Merrill Lynch and as the Chief Technology Officer/Senior Vice President of Wired Vines. MacCord brings over 30 years of experience in technology engineering and management, spanning data center operations, facilities engineering, network engineering and operations, mainframe CICS COBOL/IDMS application development, database support, and server/web based development.
