Biographical Sketch: Co-founder and CEO, Luminex Software, Inc. Arthur Tolsma co-founded Luminex in 1994 along with Brian Hawley and Michael Saunders. Luminex grew profitably as a bootstrapped company in the storage management industry. Mr. Tolsma led multiple key business acquisitions to build on a vision for modern mainframe storage management focused on customer success. Luminex was recognized in the Deloitte LA Fast50 for 5 consecutive years, along with multiple national awards for the Deloitte Fast500 list of fastest growing public or private technology companies in the nation and the Inc500 list of fastest growing private companies from any industry. Mr. Tolsma was honored along with his co-founders with the 2005 Inland Empire Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award. He is a frequent industry speaker and well known in the mainframe and storage communities. Prior to co-founding Luminex, Mr. Tolsma enjoyed a career in the aerospace industry with both engineering and management positions. He received a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an M.S. in Aeronautics/Astronautics from Stanford University.
