Biographical Sketch: Nancy Stein has over 40 years of IBM Mainframe and IMS TM/DB experience, as an IBM customer, IBM IMS Lab Advocate, IBM System z IT Architect, and currently as an IBM Consulting IT Specialist on the zGROWTH/IMS Team of the WSC. She focuses on Catalog and Database enhancements in IMS Releases, IMS exploitation of Parallel Sysplex and IMSplex implementations helping customers achieve high availability, IMS Application modernization and integration, and IMS cloud, analytics, mobile, and security. Nancy helps customers uncover the business value of their IMS systems through participation in System z Infrastructure Architecture Workshops, IMS Health Checks, and High Availability Center of Competency design studies.
