Speaker:

Over the last several years, Isracard, Israel's largest credit card company, has enhanced its protection against data loss. The threats we have addressed are both physical and logical.
Beyond synchronous replication to our DR site, we have created daily logical copies of our production data, DR testing copies and the creation of off-site copies.
The technologies used to create and verify these copies include BCPii, BMC/Control-O/M and Flash Copy.
This session will describe the unique threats that we have to deal with, the technologies we used and how we implemented them, all in a less than perfect economic climate.
This session was last given at Anaheim 2014 and has been updated for Seattle with changed and additional content.
