Many administrators and systems programmers are so focused on day to day operations that they are left out of higher level discussions of infrastructure architecture.  This session will provide a mainframe centric view of architectural options for areas like connectivity, enterprise modernization, and legacy integration.  The goal of the session is to both educate the attendees and give them the ability to widen their aperture when having discussions with applications and engineering teams in their organization.
