Handouts
  • Session 16545_Secure Hybrid Computing (903.5 kB)
  • This presentation represents a new era in Hybrid computing with all aspects of our CAMS (Certificate Authority with Multiple Level Security) solutions included. The presentation is a Geospatial application consisting of over twenty satellite feeds to Ispatial running on PureSys power blades feeding the ingest via WAS Liberty and Worklight through SSL to z/OS DB2. This renders the results to mobile devices operated by target spotters using iPhones every four seconds. This code is all Java based.

The presentation demonstrates system of record with systems of engagement across platform architecture with a solid security underpinning. The security had to be EAL5+ for Military accreditation using PKI Digital Certs with z/OS RACF as the Certificate Authority with Multiple Level Security to a single database and end-to-end security via VPN and Crypto with keys. We also show analytics from Linux on System z and z/OS to real time data with Social to x86 via SoftLayer in Poughkeepsie labs. Besides the SoftLayer Cloud we also have OpenStack from System z and have zDOOP and Cloudant demos as well as Maximo and ECM on System z. The use case can be designed for Civil and Commercial accounts and include any applications that run on x86, Power or System z. A demo, resident at the Washington Systems Center in Gaithersburg, will be shown during this session.
