The IBM z13 mainframe is the latest member in the IBM zEnterprise System family. The speaker will discuss how to upgrade z/OS to use or exploit the latest features of an IBM z13. This session will describe the software required to run on a new server, migration actions required to use the new server, and any actions required to exploit new z13 functions. This session will be of interest to systems programmers and their managers who might upgrade to an IBM z13.
