Biographical Sketch: Gail Bymun is a Director of Mainframe Engineering at Fiserv, Inc. with more than 25 years of experience in the financial and utility sectors. During this period, she has held a variety of professional roles ranging from applications and systems programming to mainframe and open systems management. She now uses this broad base of experience to better understand and resolve technical and organizational issues, during a time when declining budgets and increasing regulatory requirements are becoming commonplace. Her pastimes include scuba diving and taking her motorcycle on mountain roads near her home in north Georgia, recently riding as far west as the Grand Canyon and then north through the Badlands of South Dakota. Holding degrees in both Computer Science and Business Administration, Gail was elected in 2014 to serve as the Director of Volunteer Services for the Share user group, where she currently focuses upon mentoring others and helping them develop meaningful and relevant IT skills.
