Biographical Sketch: Steve Aaker is a Senior Principal Product Strategy Manager within Oracle Tape Product Management. He has responsibility over mainframe Virtual Tape (VSM) as well as mainframe library enablement software working with IBM z/OS, VM, Unisys, and Fujitsu MSP operating systems. Mr. Aaker has over 35 years of experience in the tape and disk storage industry starting with StorageTek in 1978. Over that time Steve has had direct product management duties that spans many activities driving new product development from strategic to tactical for a wide range of mainframe tape, tape library, and software technologies.
