PSF for z/OS V4.5 Update

Print Services Facility (PSF) for z/OS, V4.5 is the latest release of the IBM flagship production print product for z/OS. This new release offers support for extended addressing space (EAS)-eligible data sets, enhanced PSF tracing that uses the z/OS File System, faster response times for PSF operator commands, more billing options with enhanced SMF Type 6 support, the ability to enable or disable PSF in the z/OS SYS1.PARMLIB, and support for industry standards such as Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) architecture, XML and International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles.  The speaker will discuss these enhancements, as well as related enhancements to related products PPFA and ACIF.  The speaker will also describe the addition of a wide variety of fonts as a base element of z/OS that will make it easier to manage fonts and eliminate the need to include font products and features when ordering z/OS, by ensuring that the standard fonts are always available on the system.
