Using Pipeline Handlers with Web Services in CICS

The CICS Web Services Assistant is a powerful tool that allows you to easily expose your CICS programs as Web Services, or to allow your CICS programs to consume Web Service. As part of the Web Service runtime, IBM provides the ability to inject user programs into the process via the Pipeline Handler Program function. This introductory session will discuss how implement a pipeline handler program, some of the restrictions of pipeline handlers, and some of the benefits of pipeline handler programs.
