Over two years we shed light on many advanced tools for Linux performance debugging with the ever growing "How To Surprise By Being a Linux Performance know-it-all" session. This time we deliver the long requested introduction to the topic covering a few basic tools. But much more than on those basic tools, the session focusses on explaining Linux terminologies. Especially with a view on concepts and terms that become known as being often misinterpreted or misunderstood when coming from a z/VM or z/OS background.
