In this session, you'll hear about the latest innovation with IBM Sterling Connect:Direct® for z/OS. While this is the 30th anniversary of Connect:Direct (formerly Network Data Mover) there are many new features that we'll cover, including support for the IBM zEnterprise Data Compression (zEDC) for z/OS and the zEDC Express feature of the zEC12 and zBC12, new security and compliance features, and a new high speed interface to the IBM System Storage DS8000 series for improved CPU performance and file transfer throughput.
