Handouts
  • 15673 Getting Started with zOSMF Resource Monitoring - Hands-on Lab (3.2 MB)
  • The IBM z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) provides system management solutions for z/OS in a task-oriented, Web browser based user interface. The Resource Monitoring application introduced with z/OSMF V1R12 allows you to monitor the performance and resource consumption of the z/OS, AIX, Linux and Windows images in your installation. In this lab you will learn how to use the z/OSMF Resource Monitoring application efficiently:

    • Exploit the pre-defined dashboards.
    • Add your own dashboards with your favourite metrics.
    • Get the best out of the advanced filtering capabilities.

The lab will also cover two features which have been added quite recently:

Navigate back and forth through historical data and export the data to spreadsheets
