DB2 11 Utilities Update

The IBM DB2 11 for z/OS Utilities Suite provide better availability and performance with reduced use of system resources.  Online reorganization improvements can reduce the application outage window. There is improved drain processing and improved switch phase timing to reduce overall elapsed time.  You’ll experience more parallelism and control over its usage across the utilities. Additional offload to zIIP processors for RUNSTATS and inline statistics gathering is delivered in this release.  Performance of the LOAD utility has also been improved through parallelism enhancements.  Furthermore, core function delivered in DB2 11 for z/OS is fully supported by the DB2 Utilities Suite.  This session will give an overview of what is new in the DB2 11 for z/OS Utilities Suite.
