15634: Integrating Innovative Technologies (I2T) Project Opening

Sunday, August 3, 2014: 4:15 PM-5:15 PM
Room 302 (David L. Lawrence Convention Center)
Speaker: Diana Donnellan(Sunrise e-Services)

Join the Integrating Innovative Technologies Project (I2T) as we prepare for an exciting week. The I2T project focuses on emerging IT technologies, and looks at the broader impact of new ideas as they are integrated into current business applications. Topics, often interdisciplinary, are: Virtual Desktops, Social Media, Mobile computing, Cloud computing, Business Process Management (BPM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Big Data and Analytics, IT standards, Privacy and Ethics, Artificial Intelligence, Collaborative computing, and Software engineering. As with any technology, IT needs to understand the benefits and risks associated with the deployment and management of new concepts in large, small and medium businesses.

At this session, project members review all activities and sessions for the upcoming week and begin discussion of events for future SHARE conferences. If you have ideas to share, want to help out during this week, or if you are just curious, be sure to attend. If you are interested in focusing on emerging technologies with a practical, business application perspective (as implemented in the 'real world'), then this is the project to join!

Tracks: Big Data - Big Analytics - Big Needs, Cloud in the Enterprise, Dark Side of Virtualization and Mobile and Social Networking in the Enterprise
