  • System Automation for z/OS: Beginner's Hands-On Lab part 1 and 2 (1.5 MB)
  • In this exercise you will create multiple new Applications that are a member of an Application Group via the File Update. You will recycle the newly defined Applications in partial clusters. Furtheron you use the Import functionality to have a look at SA z/OS' shipped Best Practice policies.

    At the end of the lab, you should be able to use SA z/OS to:

    • Define Applications and Application Groups using File Update
    • Recycle Applications in portions
    • Use the Import function to introduce data into your policy
    • Import a Best Practice policy
