  • z/VM Single System Image (SSI) and Live Guest Relocation (LGR) allow you to migrate Linux systems, but this moves the running systems' memory and CPU to different LPARs. What about the disk?  This presentation will describe a solution that also allows you to migrate Linux systems' DASD volumes to different disk hardware. It will start at a high level, then drill down into specific examples. It will also describe real-world customer scenarios utilizing this solution.
