Biographical Sketch: Dirk has been associated with IBM's Managed File Transfer portfolio throughout his career at Sterling Commerce and now at IBM. His roles have included product support, support management, and product management; and he how has responsibility for the entire portfolio of system-to-system MFT solutions. He is routinely engaged with IBM customers, sellers, and business partners in the assessment of customer needs and aligning those needs with IBM's product offerings. Dirk's perspective on both the history and evolution of MFT technology and the use cases that are driving the adoption of new solutions are relevant to both IT practitioners and business decision makers.
