Biographical Sketch: Eduardo C. Oliveira is an Executive Client Technical IT Specialist at IBM. His current position is Team Lead at the IBM Wave Tiger Team and he has been with IBM for the past 28.5 years. Prior to his current assignment, he held positions at the ATS Smarter Analytics Team and on the Information Management Foundation initiative. Before that he was the Techline System z Technology Leader for North and Latin America, SW developer at the Toronto Microelectronics Lab, and a mainframe Product Engineer at the Sumare Plant, in Brazil. Mr. Oliveira is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and has held assignments in Brazil, US, Canada, Germany, and Japan. His areas of expertise are IBM Wave, capacity planning, Linux on z Systems, consolidation,Sizing, TCO, and z Systems hardware.
