Biographical Sketch: Dave Levish is a Senior Software Engineer in DB2 for z/OS development, where he has 15 years experience. He has led some of the largest projects in DB2 history including the 64-bit conversion done for DB2 V8 and the DB2 11 10 byte RBA and LRSN support. Dave has also been responsible for numerous other projects related to scalability, performance and new function. Dave is the past chairman of the DB2 for z/OS Design Review Board and is the technical lead in the DB2 systems area (DSCF). Prior to his time in DB2, Dave was a developer in multiple areas of DFP / DFSMS. Before joining IBM, Dave was the lead MVS systems programmer in a large scientifically-oriented data center.
