    • This session will provide an overview of z/OS disk copy services capabilities that enable High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (D/R).  This will include an introduction to the levels of disaster recovery, how the disk storage copy services fit into each level of HA and D/R service, single and multi-site configurations, and a high level view of each of the Advanced Copy Services offered by IBM disk storage and DFSMS.

    The content is designed for zNextGen audience but advanced users may enjoy it as a good refresher of the terminology, functionality, and configuration options.
