Technology Innovation: Tail Wags the Dog

During this week at SHARE, you've heard about many trends that are having an impact on IT: Mobile, BYOD, Big Data and Analytics, Social Networking, etc. As businesses take advantage of these innovations, more of the processing can and should be moved to the mainframe for all the reasons we know and love, such as reliability, scalability, and most important, security.
