14992: User Experience: Running Multiple TCPIP Stacks on an IBM Mainframe

Monday, March 10, 2014: 3:00 PM-4:00 PM
Grand Ballroom Salon G (Anaheim Marriott Hotel)
Handouts
  • User Experience: Running Multiple TCPIP Stacks on an IBM Mainframe (533.9 kB)
  • You can run multiple TCP/IP stacks on the same system to provide network isolation for one or more of your applications. You can isolate applications with multiple Open System Adapter (OSA) features, each one connecting your system to a different network and assign a TCP/IP stack to each feature. You may have a case for separating a piece of the business, or perhaps use this as a migration path to a new network.

I intend to make this session a “How To” with coded examples and related commands.
