  • The Old is New Again - Engineering Security in the Age of Data Access from Anywhere (2.1 MB)
  • The mainframe is dead, long live the mainframe. As “new” capabilities become mainstream, such virtualization and cloud computing, some of us that have been around for a while may wonder what is the big fuss? This session take a lesson from history and discusses (application) security architectures, as we moved through the various stage of enabling data access, from Mainframe, Client Server, Web, and now Mobile and Cloud Computing, what the impact is to the overall security architecture, the impact it has to enterprises, and how some have lost the capability to see who is accessing data at any given time.
