IMS 13 provides enhanced capabilities for both managing and distributing data. IMS expansive integration capabilities enable SOA exploitation, enhanced analytics, new application development, mobile technology, and System z cloud based processing. In this session, the speaker describes the enhancements to the IMS System components that support both Database and Transaction Manager. In addition the new IBM one-time charge priced IMS DB Value Unit Edition will also be discussed on how IMS clients with new zNALC-approved IMS applications including mobile and analytics applications can take advantage of IMS open access capabilities.
