Biographical Sketch: Dave Levish is a Senior Software Engineer in DB2 for z/OS development, where he has 15 years experience. He has led some of the largest projects in DB2 history including the 64-bit conversion done for DB2 V8 as well as numerous other projects related to scalability, performance and new function. Dave is the current chairman of the DB2 for z/OS Design Review Board and is the technical lead in the DB2 systems area (DSCF). Prior to his time in DB2, Dave was a developer in multiple areas of DFP / DFSMS. Before joining IBM, Dave was the lead MVS systems programmer in a large scientifically-oriented data center.
