Biographical Sketch: Ed has maintained MVS-based systems since the early 1970s and OS/MFT. He has worked in major retail, banking, and software development shops and even done a stint as a technical consultant on IBM publications. He has used tools like PTFLE and all releases of SMP/E to install releases and service for OS/360, MVS, MVS/XA, MVS/ESA, OS/390, and z/OS systems. Currently employed at SAS, an IBM Business Partner and ISV, he maintains 6 LPAR-based z/OS systems in 3 sysplexes, as well as three dozen z/OS guests under z/VM.
