Biographical Sketch: Phil Emrich is a Senior Consultant in Vanguard’s Professional Services staff for the past thirteen years, assisting clients with a variety of projects related to RACF security on System z. Phil specializes in security for middleware software on System Z: CICS, WebSphere MQ, DB2 and IMS, as well as assisting clients migrating to RACF from other z/OS security manager software, and has conducted a wide variety of consulting engagements in both the U.S., the U.K. and Europe. Phil has over 40 years experience in the information technology industry. Prior to joining Vanguard, Phil developed a variety of skills and experience during 31 years at IBM.
