Symmetrix Advanced Replication and DR Features for the IBM Mainframe

This session describes in detail the advanced replication and DR features Symmetrix offers IBM mainframe users, including z/VM and Linux on System z environments.  In addition to basic two site SRDF synchronous and asynchronous functions, advanced features such as AutoSwap for continuous availability and three site topologies, including SRDF/Star, our Geographically Dispersed Disaster Restart (GDDR) solution, and support for IBM solutions including GDPS are discussed. Comparisons with other replication solutions available in the marketplace are addressed.   Significant functional enhancements during the past year are also reviewed.
