WSC Short Stories and Tall Tales

Updated in 2013, this session will introduce new topics crossing a wide range of performance and capacity planning issues for z/OS and System z processors. It will highlight new information based on recent experiences from the IBM Washington Systems Center which should be of interest to most installations looking to get the most they can out of their mainframe platform. Topics planned include Batch performance, compression, and the latest experiences with the CPU Measurement Facility.
