What's New with DFSMS ICF Catalog and IDCAMS

In this session, the speaker will bring users up to date on recent changes shipped for ICF Catalog and IDCAMS with z/OS V2.1  as well as new function rolled back to previous releases via the service stream.  These changes include new capabilities for processing Catalogs with record-level sharing (RLS), GDG enhancements and new support for PDSEs, expanded CSI field names, multiple Catalog Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) enhancements for improved usability and diagnostics, and Catalog Alias enhancements.  For IDCAMS, the new capabilities include enhanced DELETE processing for PDS/PDSEs, support for VSAM record-level sharing (RLS), and multiple RAS enhancements for improved diagnostics. We will explore how these new features work, how you use them, and how they can benefit your installation.
