This session will describe how to build modern application in COBOL using a next generation COBOL reference Architecture.  In the session the attendees will learn the characteristics of a modern architecture and how to implement them within COBOL.  The attendee will also learn how to exploit dynamic calling within COBOL to build a more agile application as well as how to design your applications for change.

This next generation COBOL architecture is designed to co-exist with existing application code so that existing functionality can be harvested and changed quickly in the future.  The architecture is not about code generations but does enable developers to be able to go from process flows to deployment.
