z/OS 2.1 Print Products Latest Status & New Features

Infoprint Server for z/OS 2.1 adds a number of new features, including managing configuration file attributes in the Printer Inventory from the ISPF panels, support for dynamic configuration changes for most options, additional job accounting information in SMF Type 6 records, and support for using System Logger for the Common Message log. The speaker will discuss these and other enhancements to Infoprint Server. The speaker will also describe the addition of a wide variety of fonts as a base element of z/OS that will make it easier to manage fonts and eliminate the need to include font products and features when ordering z/OS. It will ensure that the standard fonts are always available on the system.
