    • One of the key features of DFSMShsm is the integration with DFSMSdfp. The settings in the Management Class and Storage Group constructs can greatly influence the smooth running and the overall efficiency of your HSM environment. The speaker will discuss the various settings in detail and how these, in conjunction with the ARCCMD00 member, affect space management and backup processing . He will also discuss the new management class values available in z/OS V2R1 to enable Class Transition policies.
