Debugging system problems can sometimes require gathering and correlating disparate bits of information from several different sources -- the system log (syslog), the network log (netlog), job logs -- each with its own display console. This can be a tedious chore. Bringing these log records together in one central place with robust filtering and searching capabilities can significantly simplify the task.
This session considers the use of the NetView for z/OS CANZLOG consolidated log facility for browsing and searching records from these multiple sources.
