Biographical Sketch: Bryan Chan is a Staff Software Developer with the IBM Java Technology Center. Bryan has had 12 years of experience in developing the IBM Testarossa Just-In-Time compiler, while specializing in System z as well as x86 architectures. Recently, Bryan's work has focused on the reliability, usability and serviceability of the compiler. Prior to joining IBM in 2001, Bryan received his M.A.Sc. from University of Toronto for research on automatic program parallelization for Java.
