Biographical Sketch: Now at IBM as the Business Line Executive for Data Protection, Steve Kenniston has been a storage industry professional for over 15 years. Steve made is his mark at the Enterprise Storage Group (now Enterprise Strategy Group) covering topics such as next generation file systems, next generation data protection as well as disaster recovery and high availability. Steve also developed the first on-site support service organization for a software company while at Veritas. Steve has recently joined Storwize and the VP of Technology and Strategy after spending 3 years in the Office of the CTO at EMC where he ended up after EMC acquired Avamar.
