Biographical Sketch: Visda joined the Compiler Back-end team of IBM XL C/C++ Compiler brand in 2008. Since then she has applied her software and hardware knowledge to developing code for the optimizing code generation engine of the C/C++ compiler on z platform. Prior to joining IBM Canada she has worked for Language Environment Test and zSeries Hardware Verification teams in IBM Poughkeepsie, USA. Visda obtained her BS from State University of New York and her MSEE from Columbia University, New York. She is a licensed engineer in the province of Ontario and an active volunteer of Engineers without Borders.
