Biographical Sketch: Steve joined IBM in 1982 as a marketing support representative for the CICS products group. He has held a progression of positions involving customer support in large systems. He has provided education and consulting support for IBM internal and external customers. Over the past years, Steve has concentrated on the introduction and use of CICS and CICSPlex SM/ESA across the z/OS Enterprise and was heavily involved with Parallel Sysplex working with users implementing CICS with IMS, DB2 and VSAM data sharing. In his current position as a Executive I/T Specialist in Advanced Technical Skills, Steve provides technical support for CICS Transaction Server in a wide variety of customer environments focusing on how existing business applications can be deployed and reused in an SOA environment.
