Biographical Sketch: The speaker has over 30 years of experience in the data processing industry, primarily in the area of DB2, IMS, and z/OS systems management. He is currently a Consulting IT Specialist with IBM Corporation Cloud And Smarter Infrastructure, working in the area of performance and availability management. He has been a frequent presenter at IDUG, Share, Computer Measurement Group, the IBM DB2, IMS and Tivoli Technical Conferences, IBM Information On Demand Conference, and at numerous regional user groups on technical and performance topics. He has published articles in Candle Computer Report, IDUG Solutions Journal, and IBM System z Advisor. At IDUG North America 2000, he was named Best Overall Speaker.
