Lunch and Learn: DevOps for the Mainframe

DevOps is an emerging trend encouraging collaboration between operations and development teams to focus on increasing the amount of functionality delivered to the business. Getting all team members in sync and driving change on the mainframe is extremely complex, where change involves multiple parties from storage and system programmers, to security personnel, to DBAs, to developers that are involved in even minor system changes to business critical systems. This presentation outlines the applicability of DevOps for mainframe application delivery including tools and practices from both Rational and Tivoli.
