  • In this session the speaker will provide an introduction and update to the z/OS Capacity Provisioning function. Capacity Provisioning is a z/OS base function that can monitor z/OS systems on IBM System z servers. The new functions that are covered include the support for recurring time conditions, more flexible capacity increments, options for more reactive management.  One of the focus topics in the session will be the new user interface of capacity provisioning in z/OSMF.

    This session is recommended for zNextGen (zNG) members, and those new to the System z platform.
