  • The objective of this presentation is to introduce the concept that DFSORT has several different types of resources available when processing data.  The use of different types of resources influences the paths of code DFSORT may execute out of.  DFSORT can be manipulated to choose one path of code over another.  Topics included in this presentation will be ( HIPERSPACE, DATA SPACE, MEMORY OBJECTS, MEMORY OBJECTS AS INTERMEDAITE WORK STORAGE,  MAIN MEMORY, AND SORTWK DATASETS).
