Enterprise IT organizations are deploying virtual environments, especially in Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud configurations, in increasingly growing numbers. With these special environments in place, IT teams can deploy applications faster, adjust to capacity demand on the fly, and consolidate server management needs for huge cost savings. What they don’t know is that there’s a hidden cost of these deployments – the loss of application and transaction management visibility.
This session will examine the complicated nature of managing transaction performance and availability across these cloud and virtual environments. We’ll look at the cause and effect of each management data gap including the separation of application functionality from infrastructure requirements, the lack of meaningful test environments, and the stress on tools created by a dynamically shifting IT environment. Finally, we’ll present a set of requirements for managing transaction performance in Private Cloud environments.
