What's New With CA MIM Resource Sharing?

There has been considerable activity with CA MIM Resource Sharing over the past few years.  In this session after a brief overview of the CA MIM product, we will present on new capabilities to allow systems to be dynamically added in an XCF-complex, CA MIM to be restarted or stopped while guaranteeing integrity of shared resources, an early system start capability to support management of ENQs and conversions of RESERVES right after an IPL is initiated, and a variety of enhancements for tape device sharing including improvements to VARY processing and UNLOAD serialization.
